OATMEAL-CHIP COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups (4 sticks) softened butter or margarine
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2-teaspoons vanilla extract
    Dry Ingredients:

  • 2-2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1-1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate or butterscotch morsels
  • 6 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
  • 2 cup chopped nuts

    Directions

    Beat 2 cups (4 sticks) softened butter or margarine, 4 large eggs and 2-teaspoons vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until blended. Add dry ingredients and mix well, breaking up any clumps. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 375° F. oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks. Makes about 100 cookies.
    CHEWY BROWNIES

    INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups (6 sticks) melted butter or margarine
  • 8 large eggs
  • 8 tablespoons water
  • 8 teaspoons vanilla extract
    Dry Ingredients:

  • 5-1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 cups NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa
  • 5-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt 3 cups chopped nuts or NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

    Directions

    Place dry ingredients in a large mixer bowl. Add 3 cups (6 sticks) melted butter or margarine, 8 large eggs, 8 tablespoons water and 8 teaspoons vanilla extract; stir well. Spread into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 350° F. oven for 18 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool in pan on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Makes about 100 brownies.
    CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

    INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups (6 sticks) softened butter or margarine
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract Dry Ingredients:

  • 7 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 6 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups granulated sugar Beat 3 cups (6 sticks) softened butter or margarine, 4 large egg and 3 teaspoons vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until blended. Add cookie mix and 2 cups chopped nuts (optional); mix well, breaking up any clumps. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 375° F. oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks. Makes about 100 cookies.
