What True Love...Really Really Is

Some love stories are just stories and some become the envy of all those in significant relationships...

Two twenty-three year old kids are getting married this summer. Kwasi, is a medical student and Trixia is a kindergarten teacher. They've known each other since they were four and met at a small church in Long Island. When Kwasi couldn't correctly spell "pizza" the first time Trixia heard him speak, she knew she'd one day marry him. Over the years they kept going to the same church but never really speaking. Time passed and before they knew it, they were about to graduate college. Trixia spoke to Kwasi for the first time in years on aol's instant messenger and they fell in love immediately. Within six months, they took a walk from Penn Station to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree. " In the brightest place and in the brightest city in the world, " said Kwasi, " and nothing has brightened up my life like you." At that moment he knelt down on one knee and pulled a circular contraption bearing platinum and diamonds. "Will you marry me honey?" This summer, with no money, no home, and no doubts, these two twenty-three year-old kids are finally getting married. People told them to wait, but love knows no schedule. People said it would never make it to the altar, but they don't know love. Being in a long distance relationship from day one, Kwasi and Trixia have more than made it work. True love, really really is not a word. Kwasi and Trixia would tell you, it just is. June 11, 2005 marks what true love really really is.
