Laundry day proposal

Knowing how the plan worked its self out and the joke that followed, "wow!, you washed your hands." is a memory that non of us will ever forget .

Chris and I have a long distance relationship and about every three weeks we will go and visit one another. He came for Thanksgiving knowing full well I would have to work. It was the day after thanksgiving and I went into work and he was going to do some Christmas shopping. I ended up calling him mid shift to pick me up since I wasn't feeling well. Chris had called his mom to see what he should do because the engagement ring wasn't ready and he had to pick me up, they figured out what he was going to do and once I felt better we had gone out to dinner and a movie. Not knowing what was going on, Chris started complaining that his stomach hurt and I asked if he just wanted to go home, he refused and told me he just needed to go to the bathroom once we were at the movie. We got our tickets and sat down, he left for the "bathroom" and about ten minutes later he came back his hands were so cold and joking around I said wow! you washed your hands. We got back to my house after a really nice night and started cleaning up my room and putting our laundry in the wash. As I started multi-tasking as I usally do Chris got really anxious and told me to stop cleaning and fold the laundry. I grabed the basket of whites and dumped it on the floor and as I was folding our clothes I found a white jewelry box. Right there and then so many emotions went through me it was unreal he said my full name and asked will you marry me. I said yes and we are now happily engaged and waiting for September, 22 2007 to make it official.
