The Congralutions on your engagement!

Diary Monica Christina Littrell, The Congralutions on your engagement! The ahead of you lies the excitement of planning your wedding, the anticipation of that perfect day and spending the rest of your lives together. The first people you’ll want to tell are your parents. Going out to dinner with them is a nice way of sharing this important news. Next, you’ll want to tell your relatives, close friends and colleagues. You might even want to place an announcement in the newspaper. That way everyone will know! Each wedding is a unique and highly emotional event. However, each wedding involves a great deal of planning ahead time. When choosing a date for the wedding, decide on a time when you can both expect to take time off from work. You should also check with the members of the wedding party, your parents, best man and maid honor to make sure they are available on the proposed date. Having agreed upon a suitable date, next you will be choosing locations for the ceremony and reception. You should reserve immediately if the location of your choice is free on the proposed date. You will also need a marriage license in order to get married. You can do this by calling city hall in your town to determine your legal requirements. Wedding invitations are usually quite formal and comply to a strict code of etiquette. Traditionally, they are sent from the hosts of the wedding reception and are written in the third person. The following information should be included in the invitation: the names of the hosts, the names of the bride and groom, the date time as well as the locations of the ceremony and reception. Many people also include a printed reply card. The process of printing invitations can take several weeks, so give yourself time to fit it into your schedule. Check the typesetting carefully and make sure all the information is correct. You should send out your invitations eight to 12 weeks before the actual wedding date to give your guests sufficient notice. Best wishers Brian Thomas Littrell Brian & Monica
