Wedding Videography - When Getting it Right on the 1st Take Counts, Hire a Professional
Getting married is one of the most stressful events anyone will ever endure. So many details and preparations go into the making of a successful wedding. Often one of the most overlooked aspects of wedding preparation is hiring a wedding videographer. Many couples think they can cut a few corners by having uncle Charlie or aunt Mary video their wedding. They've had a camcorder for a long time; they must know what they are doing right? And what the heck it's free!
But then you watch the video and the memories you had just aren't coming across the way you remember them; or at least you didn't get see sick during the real thing. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of relatives and friends who could probably do a half way decent job but why take the chance? This is your wedding, your big day, and you only get one shot at it. When getting it right on the first take counts you really should not settle for anything less than a professional wedding videographer to capture your precious event.
Professional wedding videographers understand the nature of the wedding service and know the ins and outs of capturing all of the important moments. They also know the dynamics of working with the people involved in your wedding, including the clergy, photographer and others. I don't know how many times a photographer has told me they missed a good shot because aunt Mary was in the way. More often though I hear from clergy about the uncle Charlie's that crossed the line of propriety several times by not abiding by the rules of the venue or understanding the sanctity of the church.
Being a professional wedding videographer takes more than just knowing how to run a camcorder, get great footage or capture excellent audio. A good wedding videographer is able to make you and your party feel entirely at ease by being as unobtrusive and transparent as possible. They are able to work with you to find out what is important to you. What types of camera angles you like, what parts of the ceremony and reception are absolutely essential to capture, what effects if any you would like applied in edit, and so on. They know how to meet your expectations and create a finished product that you will be proud to share with family and friends.
Many couples do not understand the value of a wedding videographer until they see someone else's professionally shot and edited video and by then it's already too late. When you consider how much time the average person spends in front of the television, having a video of your wedding starts to make a lot of sense.
Whatever you're feelings are about hiring a professional wedding videographer, you owe to yourself to at least make a few calls and ask some questions. It could be one of the best decisions you ever make.

There are several ways you can cut short the liquor budget at your wedding reception.Offer punch ? virgin and spiked - instead of having a bar. This works really well if you are having a summer luncheon wedding reception.Offer only wine and beer along with soft drinks, coffee and tea at the bar. Ask the staff to pass around glasses of champagne especially for the wedding toast.Close the bar an hour before the wedding reception ends. Serve only cold drinks, tea and coffee afterwards. If possible, choose a venue that allows you to bring your own liquor. Wedding Loans in the UK ? Saving Future from the Present Wedding Expenses
It is wrong if you thought that typical British weddings are starving of novel ideas. In fact, there is a glut of ideas, and each idea sounds as enthralling as the previous ones. The only glitch then is of finance. Had weddings been the be-all and end-all of life, not an iota of concern would have been put on the expenses. It isn't though. Wedding marks the onset of a new life for the married couple. Rash expenses at this stage of life are only going to make things worse in the future.
To Register or Not to Register (for Wedding Gifts)
I say always register for gifts! You see, people tend to spend more on wedding gifts than any other occasion! For example, when I got married, my husband's grandparents gave us $1000 and we never get gifts from them, not even for Christmas!
